Ecommer solutions?

Can anyone recommend any good Ecommerce solutions for an online shop with a few thousand products.

Currently using AceFlex which doesn't seem flexible enough for what we need , and always quite a few issues.

I have loooked at :

Magento
OScommerce
CRELoaded
ZenCart

I have no idea which would be the best to go for - does anyone have any first hand experience with all of these and what the advantages/disadvantages are?

zen cart is really to setup and customise,

Thanks - what is it like on features compared to the others?

Not really bothered how easy it is to setup initially , but don't want to have to pay someone each time we change a simple detail.

Looking at spending no more than £5k ideally for someone who knows what they're doing to sort everything out

Thought about getting a custom made eCommerce system then if you were looking at that amount of money to be spent?
I created a bespoke eCommerce system for a client last year and was well under your £5k budget so Im sure there are people that can do it

Hmm, I thought for getting a custom made eCommerce system the costs would be higher - as we originally paid more than £5k for the site we have currently.

Also with a custom made system, there is no new features/plug ins available like on the open source project, and all minor changes would probably be have to be made by someone who is an expert in coding.
