i'm getting it for free, but it's supposed to be a **** to fit to a 2.0 zetec, just want to find out whether its worth doing the job

Eh...what does it actually do? Looks like its a little crank case breather filter inline with something.

When you're off throttle and the engine creates a vacuum in the inlet, it gurgles.

It doesnt leak, it draws air in and is a one way valve.

You can even get 'socks' for them too to stop them getting dirty! w00t!

Yeah they're pretty damn good. I fitted one to my Toledo 1.8T and it gave me an extra 95bhp at the wheels.
