hi all.

iv got an ati readon hd 6870,

the temps are ******g ridiculous, 49 celcuis at idle ( ****) and 78 celcius at load. done so many things to try help like reapply thermal paste, put a intake fan at the bottom and two outake fans at the top. its a refrence card by xfx. **** amd, wish i went with nvidia.

is it downclocking at idle? my 5870 which is basically the same card is 33c but its a non ref card,49c is too hot tho

idle clocks are 157mhz core 300mhz memory,look in ccc amd overdive section
