Edge Lit and thin LED TVs have significant reliability and degradation issues

In Rtings latest update they find that the majority of edge lit LCD/LED TVs have now suffered damaged due to their design

In comparison only a few FALD TVs suffered the same fate

"The results of this investigation are unequivocal: edge-lit TVs are inherently prone to significant durability issues, including warped reflector sheets, cracked light guide plates, and burnt-out LEDs due to concentrated heat"

These results explain so much for me, why my two OLED TVs have zero issues and yet my three very thin QLED TVs have significant issues
