Edge Router and Mesh WiFi - x2 Firewalls?

Hey

Just being daft and noticed that my Edge Router (Zyxel NR7101) has its Firewall enabled for IPv4 and IPv6. Yet my Asus XT12 kit also has its Firewall enabled. D'oh! Just wanting to ask should I disable the Asus Firewall and just keep the edge Firewall enabled? I'm guessing there is no need to have both enabled?

Did a bit of digging and this article although not my device it goes through steps for enabling bridge mode, one of which is a step for turning off the Firewall on the Zyxel. https://support.zyxel.eu/hc/en-us/articles/360001482220-Setting-the-VMG-as-Modem-Bridge-Mode-

So makes sense to me. I've left it turned on at the XT12 side with DoS protection.
