I'm currently using the above setup and I've got an urge to upgrade.
I've had the beyerdynamic for a long time and think they are great headphones - so quite happy with keeping them. I'm running them through an Edifier c2 when playing games.
I would like to be able to leave the headphones plugged in and not have to faff about unplugging them (first world problems) when switching from games to movies through the speakers.
I don't have a soundcard just the onboard on my Gigabyte 970A-UD3P Motherboard.
Can someone point me in the right direction as to what upgrade possibilities I have available? I'm aware that I haven't given a budget as I am just getting the ball rolling, but the phrase 'bang for your buck' should help in clarifying this issue.
