These speakers are EPIC! Just as clear and fresh as the R1600T Plus but Bigger, Louder and over all more refined.

The S550 completely stomps all over the Z5500. The levels of immense do not even compare.

The Z5500 however are probably a little better than the DA5000 Pro in terms of sheer volume and base although the Z5500 was never very precise with its sound reproduction.

We have had the S550 before and cheaper unfortunately but even at the price they are still far superior to the Z5500 and the Z906.
