Hello guys, i am upgrading from Bose Companion 3 and I am looking for something more powerful and bassy, I like the Edifier's because of the huge subwoofer and nice quality. I listen to Dubstep, DnB and house music. I want my room to shake :D

This will be pretty much only for music and I was also considering E 400. I am serious as I have been on various forums in the past days.

Thanks

Recently just purchased the S730 and awaiting delivery, heard nothing but good reviews about these, items fall off your desk once the bass kicks in :D

With a decent sound card these will be a great choice.

Hi, I would like also a real review of this Edifier S730 as I am looking to replace my old Razer Mako 2.1 who developed the well known problem with the remote control and can't turn the volume loud anymore.

Well a colleague of mine bought the junior model the S530D at a PC fair a couple of years back and when we heard it in her living room it was pretty impressive so i am sure those S730s would serve anyone well

Thing is though for the price of the s730 you could get a dedicated amp/receiver and speakers for example at the moment you could pick up brand new from a certain high street hi fi seller a pioneer vsx322 full receiver a pair of cambridge audio s20 bookshelf speaker and a matching s80 sub for less than the s730s and personally id rather have a full setup like that over any pc plug and play speaker arrangement

I agree, if you are considering spending that kind of money you should also consider a dedicated amp and speakers.
