Looking to buy my sister some speakers for her birthday, which will be used for music and movies with a laptop. She's not a great audiophile, but want something decent. I use the old Edifier R1600T and like it very much. Was going to get her something similar, but wondering if there is much difference between the current line-up of 980T, 1280T and R1800T. I realise they're priced slightly differently and specify different amplifiers, etc, but not sure how much real-world difference that makes in this scenario....
