Edimax EW-7612UAN

Hi,

Wondering if anyone might be able to help!
In January I brought a Edimax EW-7612UAN to replace a 54g USB card. The Edimax however is only connecting at 54mb and using a/g according to my Wireless AP connected devices tab. It is a DLink DIR-615 and other N devices connect fine. I'm a bit confused here.

Make sure you are using the correct encryption AES not TKIP.

TKIP is limited to 54g

Yep as I have 3 PC's connecting using N and 1is a 150mb connection? That on is a Netgear WNA1100 and the others are Dell and Samsung laptops

Well you can have AES and TKIP enabled at the same time, check the settings on the PC side.

Ah I didnt realise! doh! The AP was set to AUTO (TKIP/AES) and on the client it was set to TKIP, so I have set to AES! Now connecting at 150mbps. Thank you for helping me out!
