I have recently bought this along with the titan goliath, I put the network card in this morning and it worked for a while, then disconnected and won't reconnect and it takes ages to get it to connect again, it just says 'windows was unable to connect to SKY54877' (if at all). I'm not sure whether the problem is the card, the operating system (windows 7) or my router... I can connect fine using ethernet and my laptop connects wirelessly so, could anyone help?
Things I've tried:
Turning router on and off
Updating drivers on network card
Unplugging network card and using a different slot
Uninstalling and reinstalling drivers for the network card
Punching the network card (bit of humour in there ;))
Oh and getting on my hands and knees and praying XD

Thanks in advance! :)

I must admit that I am having the exact same problem.
The first time, I uninstalled the drivers and took the card out and started again. After this it seemed to be ok but then did it again today. On further inspection I noticed that according to the router it was connected, after trying to disconnect it from the router end for about 15 mins I noticed that it had actually connected, it just took a long time.

I think that it has something to do with the drivers but cant find any newer ones.

Try:

Open Device Manager --> Find the adapter, right click and go into properties --> Power management --> De-select "allow the computer to turn this device off to save power"

Doubt it will work but worth a shot as it fixed it for others on different adapters

My seems to be fine now. I thought that it went again but it turned out to be the router going crazy.

Hopefully it will be ok now. :)

Hows yours been Hazshadow?

Right. It started to do it again.
I tried uninstalling all the drivers and removing the card, then reinstalling everything. At the third attempt it started to work.

It lasted under 2 hours and now I just cant get it to connect again.
I even tried a new install of windows 32 and 64, it still did it with both. :(

If any one has any ideas they will be much appreciated.

Thanks.

I may of found a solution.

Aparrently there is a problem with the wireless N system and the wpa-psk tkip security encription.

If you are having problems with connecting and you are using a wireless N network then it might be worth changing the security you are useing.
I did and it started working straight away and I havent had any problems yet.
