Edimax EW-7728In 802.11n PCI. Need better signal.

I bought a Edimax EW-7728In 802.11n PCI WiFi Card for a friend. He is only getting 2 bars signal strength with a BT home hub 2.

Without having to move his PC, are there any better WiFi cards he can buy.

I don't know much about them. So any help would be grateful.

With an N router I used to get a full signal with this card, on a G router I get barely 2 bars.
