Anyone know if you can add/replace files in an ISO without having to extract/remake the ISO, like how you can drag and drop files into the GUI of whatever archiver program. My guess is no as everything Google's thrown up involves having to remaster the ISO.

Having to remaster the entire 5GB ISO because I've changed a 10k file is annoying. :)

Ah yes I had same problem about 20 years ago tried many tools like MagicISO to edited iso file to added files and saved it but it needed to extracted all files then remaster it was annoyed. Then found UltraISO that can edit iso to add files and save without having to extract the iso and bought it.

The trial version will allow you to save up to 300MB so you will need to buy full version to remove 300MB limit for $29.95 with unlimited technical support and free updates for lifetime.

PowerISO is other alternative that can edit iso to add files and save without having to extract the iso but full version is cost $39.95.

I think these 2 apps are the only tools can edit iso to add files and save without having to extract the iso, cant find other free alternatives.

Does WinRAR extract the entire contents if you edit an ISO? it has some ISO editing capabilities but I've never used them.

EDIT: Looks like you have to extract/remake unfortunately with it :(
