Editing a .pdf?

Hey guys,

Is it possible to directly edit a .pdf file? I've got about 15 files at work which I need to update and no one knows where the originals (.doc or whatever) are...

Atm I'm just copying and pasting and then having to reformat everything in word and save as .pdf

We've got the full version of acrobat.

There must be something out there, open source possibly, which could make my life a bit easier this week

This looks like it may do the job, and they have a free trial.

If you have Acrobat Professional go to tools > advanced editing > touchup text

Excellent! Especially if it can all be done in acrobat? And we do have 'professional' afaik

Will I also be able to amend other formatting within the file or is it just text do you know?

I've downloaded the trial of nitro .pdf and I'll also be giving that a go
