So I'm trying to install Windows 8 Preview on my netbook to play around with. I'm having more than a bit of difficulty booting in.

Unetbootin gets me to the Default screen, but there seems to be a problem with the command line.

Has anyone managed to use Unetbootin for Windows 7? Do I need to edit syslinux.cfg to run setup.exe?

If this is the same problem I encountered once before, make sure the memory stick you used with unetbootin is formatted as NTFS rather than FAT32.

I done this recently but unetbootin didn't work for me.

Save yourself the headache and grab winusb.

edit: you don't have to be using ubuntu, I use gentoo but have the debian package unpacker
