Editing with Sony Vegas

I am trying to compile a short video of just over 2mins but the program keeps stopping say it is low on memory. I have 8gig installed and have not had this problem before when using this software.

Is there anything I can do apart from adding more memory.

Are you trying to render it for full HD? One option could be to reduce the render quality down a bit. What video codec are you rendering to? Try turning off "Two Pass" in the codec settings before rendering.

If it's an older version it may not be fully compatible with 64bit versions of Windows. What version do you have?

I have Movie Studio HD Platinum which is not very old. Yes I am rendering at full HD on settings that have never been an issue before. This mainly seems to happen when I put several short clips into the timeline to create a video of say 3 mins long.
If I just put a single or say two clips in it works just fine.

Now I have never used any camcorder footage as I like using FSX and record my FSX video clips with FSrecorder and then render with FSrecorder at 200FPS then put them into Sony Vegas when completed and add sound etc..

Assume you haven't turned off the page file or something simple like that?
