Hey all.

so i heard about edtracker and thought id give it ago. Cuson lent me a portable soldering iron and my helping hand arrived this morning so i thought id practice on some spare header pins i got with the bundle of parts i got for the project, i thought they looked ok so i tried the 4 corners of the pro micro just to set the headers on.

Anyhow heres some pics.

Trouble i found was pressing the tip of the blade tip i have for the soldering iron didnt "heat" the pin or shiny bit on the pcb so when touching solder on it would melt. I had to press the tip to the pin put the solderiron to the tip of the solder then spread it around the pin kinda.

I probs did a crap job and have to redo it.. But hey im trying on my own instead of having someone else do it so i should get brownie points for trying at least. :p

Wont be using the green board tho that was just to help the pro micro pins stability when soldering em.

Since the pics in the first post i tried a few more, some didnt go to plan and need to desolder some so ordered some desoldering braid stuff.

The constructed device will then be put in a tic tac box as ppl suggested its a good fit then strap it to my headphones.
