EE 5G - PAYG/30 Day SIM?

I've currently got 2x 5G devices (Note 10+ and the S7+) I'm currently with Vodafone who's 5G has been great in some places but at home (Edinburgh) its very limited.

I'd love to try EE's service but I'm not willing to sign a lengthy contract until I've tried it; it seems to be all but impossible to get a 5G SIM on a 30 Day Contract or PAYG with EE though - has anyone else been able to?

I can only find 12 month contacts with EE so unless your willing to use an MVNOs (Mobile Virtual Network Operators) using EE's network. These are BT, Plusnet, Asda and Virgin (I don't think these are 5G enabled though).

However I am currently looking for a new phone/contract and I don't know how true this is, Since the government has sided with the USA, huawei already installed infrastructure will be pulled/turned off and 5G will be in effect turned off to be reinstall so say IF the guy at the O2 shop isn't full of it.

I was not aware you could get 5g on pay and go tbh i thought it was a contract benefit.
I am pretty sure they will not just turn of 5g in a area and dismantle it and leave it, im sure they will be swapped out . that would just kill off 5g if they did it that way.

Hmmm, that's odd.

I have an unlimited EE sim on 5G rolling 30 day contract but it's not on their site anymore.

I pay £40 per month too, perhaps the Huawei debacle has caused issues...

Well, £32 with discounts 'n' such.

EE aren't the cheapest but for unlimited use, 5G speed and a rolling 30 day contract, it's okay. Only issue now is I'm not able to cancel if they won't offer the same contract options, 12/24 months is too long a commitment.

I pay £20 a month for unlimited everything with Three and I think that costs too much!!
