Has anybody tried these deals...

The current phone im looking at is £5 month cheaper getting as good as new -..... I suppose some people open the box and phone and decide they dont like size etc and return... Im 'assuming' EE - wipe and clean the phones and rebox.

Anybody had good / bad deals with these?

I did consider this one time. but i looked on the EE community forums and at the time there were some people complaining about them slight scratches here and there or missing parts. (Was the time when phones came with headphones and chargers ect)

But now i just buy new. i feel it's not worth the nagging doubt you might get and the constant looking or waiting for this to possibly go wrong(Did i receive a phone someone had a problem with ? ect).

Not to mention there is nothing like opening a brand new tech item and taking the wrap of it.

I just bought a refurb.
Has a year warranty. Big discount from new.

Usually phones don't go wrong for me. Except through my own actions.

Cracked screens, general battery life issues. Loose charging port. All things that are wear and tear and beyond warranty life.

Was shocked when I looked at another contract. Price was insane. And over 36 months!

Yeah thanks all.

These aren't refurb as such... I suppose some could order and change mind and send open box back. Could still be used for several days and then send back I guess. Will have a think!

I imagine most scratches are the things that'd appear within a few days anyway. Especially for me, so saving £5 a month over 24 months is a fairly hefty saving.

Just order it, check you're happy with the condition and keep it. If you're not happy all new contracts have a 14 day cooling off period so just send it back.

£120 saving is not to be sniffed at

Yeah I have a friends and family discount too.... Just not too sure if you return what happens. Don't want to give them the option to remove the F&f discount.. You never know with EE!
