Hi guys,

I recently moved in to a new flat, fibre wasn't available so I got the cheapest adsl as they are essentially all the same anyway. I went with EE and the internet is pretty average. I have just ditched my wireless usb stick cause it was being crap and stuck an ethernet in to my computer.

Here is the router screen: http://help.ee.co.uk/system/selfser...CMD=VIEW_ARTICLE&USERTYPE=1&ARTICLE_ID=540729

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this router and if they have any tips or settings advice to make it play nicer as it came with all default settings and I'm assuming there are a few tweaks that can be done to make it faster out of the box.

Appreciate any help :)

it's a good little router. i use mine for Plusnet with a 3db profile at 20.52Mbps on 20Attenuation. hardly ever disconnects, I left EE because they where blocking ports at network level. (SMB, SMTP,TOR) they never asked for the router back..

the wireless is another thing though. its utterly useless. so i use wired.

Got the same router a while ago when EE started with broadband, massive improvement over the Orange "Livebox" router.. Well I say massive, went from struggling to get 1Mb/s to around 3.5 (Rural area)

I've found very little info about it other than it's an "Astoria Networks" router.

Can't really give any info on tweaking it for speed but I'd be very happy to know if anyone has any tips.. Anything to boost my speed a little bit to carry me through to fibre would be amazing.
