I got a S26 ultra last week as an additional line on my contract from EE online store.

After using the phone for a few days its obvious that its bigger and heavier and im not sure i like the camera lenses sticking out so much.

Will i have any difficulty returning it given its been opened / used? The supplied sim card has not been used as ive had my giffgaff sim in it.

Im also slightly annoyed that checkmend reports it as on AssetWatch which probably means i cant sell it on ( certainly not on MM ). I have already contacted EE about this AssetWatch and they said its fine dont worry about it but it bugs me and is one reason for return.

So if i can return im guessing ill be billed from the date i got it to the date they get it back?

Also, because you purchased it on contract, technically you haven't paid for it yet so it belongs to EE. I think once you've paid more than half it drops off, I'm not sure. Just return it. With EE's annual increase it could become v expensive. Via Samsung, with their network discounts and an old phone, you can buy the 256 ultra for around ~£750 so selling used will be a big hit
Yeah ive googled it and it looks like most of the networks have started using assetwatch to prevent people having devices selling them and defaulting on the bills.

It seems EE own the device for the first 6 months. Either way i think ill be returning it.

Ive requested the return via the returns form on the website.

Hopefully they dont take too long as they havent even acknowledged the request

Well ive got it logged in but on the orders bit there only thing there is the laptop i got earlier in the year. No sign off either the s24 from last time or the s26u from this time
