Is EE Roam Further still available (for contracts predating 2021 ofc)?

Can't see any mention of it under available add-ons on my account so wondered if it's been withdrawn or something?

Check what roaming options you actually have active - I think a lot of plans come with Roam Abroad as standard now which is basically the same thing.

EDIT: The more I look into it the more confusing it gets :s when I renewed my EE plan a few months ago the roaming options and what was available on new plans was different to now.

I'm still on an old contract from 2020 so I have EU roaming included, or at least I used to!

No roaming shows up in the list of my included add-ons nor are there any options to add any.

As I've mentioned here before, I'm paying under what I should be as they appear to have screwed up my contract a while ago so I've been very wary of even talking to them in case they "notice" and force me onto a new contract at a higher price with fewer inclusions.

Guess I'm going to have to at some point though, if only to sort out what roaming I actually have.

Im with EE as well and they are very confusing with Roaming especially for outside Europe. I have an All Rounder plan and that has a Roaming extra which i use for the US and Europe and works well but roaming outside this places you keep getting conflicting information and messages so i have just started using a esim from Saily and turning data off on the EE one when i am outside the US/Europe for travelling.

It worked well for me in Qatar over Christmas and two weeks for 17GB cost me 25 USD which was much cheaper than any EE add on.

It's £25 a week now for many destinations and £37.50 a week for others. Was £10 a month, then £25 a month, now into 'extracting the juice' territory and esims are much more attractive - https://ee.co.uk/help/terms-and-conditions/mobile/pay-monthly/roaming/roam-further-pass

Ok this is news to me and actually works out much better as my inclusive extra now has Zone 1 countries included which is much better for me as it includes UAE and Qatar. Shame it didnt kick in when i was out there over Christmas.

Yep the new changes have worked out for me too! I go to Taiwan once or twice a year and previously it was around £7/MB or £1 a minute for calls. £25 for a week to use my allowance is only a tiny amount more than buying an eSIM, without the hassle when I get to the airport.
