Anyone know where you can get cheap EE sim only deals?
Had a google around and they are all more expensive than the 02 and Vodaphone, they both do unlimited calls and texts and 30gb of data for £10 a month which is about the allowance I'm looking for, EE seems to have nothing like that and I don't need the 150gb for £20 they offer thats way overkill.

I've looked at them a few times and found them more expensive, I think its a case of being a better network and you pay more for it with them?

I know some companies can get discounted EE plans for personal use - several of my family have 20-25% discount with EE through employee benefits, but aside from that I've not seen any regular way to get cheap deals on EE.

VOXI is great, can leave whenever you want. Runs & owned by Vodafone. Been with them for around 2yrs now, never any issues.
With the £12/mo package & above, traffic to TikTok, YouTube, Prime Video & Netflix doesn't count towards your quota.

15GB £10/mo
25GB £12/mo
75GB £15/mo
150GB £20/mo

Does it have to be EE? Plusnet, and others, piggyback on their network and are cheaper.
yeah I saw plusnet piggyback them but it said you couldn't do a couple of things no 4g calling? No wifi calling? and wasn't sure exactly what that meant? does that mean not using things like whatsapp or fb messenger to do calls?

I think it's like an alternative way of making normal calls: using WiFi instead of the mobile network. You can definitely WhatsApp call, as my wife was on plusnet until a month ago, and it was fine.

Ah ok thats not to bad might try plusnet seeings its a rolling month contract nothing to lose really

Managed to get an EE deal in the end £13.50 a month for 50gb data unlimited calls and texts. Pretty happy with that as where I live EE seems to me so much better speeds on 4g and responsiveness is way better.

Would you mind sharing the details please? My 12 month SIM only contract with EE expires in 2 weeks time.

Yeah I tried out a Smarty SIM recently just for the price difference but had shocking results (even on 4G which has great coverage in the area apparently) - https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/posts/35383476/ - put my EE SIM back in pretty sharpish whilst stroking the router and muttering "i'm sorry please forgive me". :D
