So am I correct in thinking ee now use both orange and tmob antennas? I'm getting signal issues with Vodafone and thinking of switching.

How do you rate them as a provider ?

Pant's in my area, Constant call dropping and calls going straight to answer phone, Three in my area are great, 20+mb down and no problems with calls or texts.

It's not an easy Question to answer due to the fact coverage in each area is different, Grab a PAYG sim card and try them for a week.

I'm with tmobile, but mine often switches to an EE signal.

So far it's been good, much better than o2 and 3g signal is leaps and bounds ahead.

I was with Vodaphone and was getting 1.7mb download speeds on HSDPA, moved jobs and got no signal so had to change to EE as work has boosters. Orange and T-Mobile merged and now appears as EE. Your best bet is to check what the signal strengths are like in your area as it can vary but currently only EE do 4G if that's what you're after.

Not bad on the whole, but could be better. (orange)

It randomly drops out at times while using the net. could have full signal but the net wouldnt work then the signal drops dead.

Other than that i have no problems with it.

Depends entirely on your location, so for the most part, aside from implemented speed limitations (eg. T-Mobile's 4Mbit/s download cap), the replies you'll receive will not necessarily reflect what you experience.

Best bet is to try, or ask friends who use the network in the same area. As for online coverage checkers, they're only estimates, and may over/under-estimate the service you'll receive.

Freedom's suggestion of getting some PAYG SIMs is your best bet.

I live in Southampton and find EE a lot better than Vodafone. There is a mast on top of the Vodafone shop in the high-street but even sat in a car park a few hundred metres away I only get 1.5-2MB. Girlfriend is on EE and her signal is always better than mine. I'm swapping my 4S with Vodafone for a S4 with EE at the end of the month - can't wait!!

LOL I left tmobile/ee a couple of mths ago as they were ****ing terrible both reception and customer service. Been on Vodafone and cant be anymore happier than I am, stupidly fast speeds on 3G/H. Only thing ive lost is unlimited data that I had with tmobile but I have 2gb limit which is more than enough for me plus as I said unlimited data was nice but not with the 56k speeds that I got with tmo lol.

They sent me out a new micro SIM and a quick speedtest this afternoon revealed 9.7 meg download and 2.5 upload. Will have to try it again during the week and at different times before I come to any conclusion because during the week I was getting speeds of 0.01 meg download which is shocking. They are very up and down from my experience, I wouldn't mind being capped at around 4 meg as long as its always around that.

Vodafone is rubbish in my area too, but strangely its the best, O2, Three, Orange you name it they can't get a single bar, if family come over they have to use the homephone to call out.

Im in central London for work and constantly get a good 4G connection. Only problem is the price!:).

I would recommend but only if your willing to fork out for a deal with a decent bandwidth.
