Can anyone help on the following.

In the last 2 months I moved from O2 to EE and I'm having issues with WiFi calling. Previous with O2 WiFi calling was solid and very reliable.

The issues I'm having with EE are random drop outs, sometimes when I try to phone back I get a message saying network not available.

It's not my WiFi as the phone is connected at all times.

I have disabled 5g and it makes no difference.

I contacted EE and I only managed to get an automated service that did a test on my line saying everything is ok.

Anyone have any suggestions as it's driving me nuts now, I'm at the point of telling people at the start of a call the phone could drop out.

Thanks for everyone's help.

Yes EE coverage is a little marginal. There are some trees behind my house that partly block signal however as I had WiFi calling I thought it would not matter. My phone signal to the mast normally says about 25-50% in my house, so it's marginal but still connected.

I've not tried a call with air-plane mode on.

Good call on the Draytek router! I do have a Draytek 2860n, I was aware of the hardware acceleration issues so put QOS on. I have just noticed hardware acceleration was on and disabled completely. I thought that having QOS on automatically disabled hardware acceleration but I'm hoping I'm wrong and that is the issue.

Over the option to prefer WiFi calling, with EE I only have this single option when WiFi calling is enabled.

With O2 I had the option of what I preferred, WiFi calling as first choice, or only using WiFi calling when cell network was unavailable. There must be a difference between EE and O2 as I have not changed phones, yet WiFi calling options are different between the 2 providers.
