I know theres already an EEE pc thread but i just have one question which size is best, if i were to get a small external hdd or a large flash pen, would 2gb be enough just for the operating system and small amount of work or is the 4gb the one to go for? i will be mainly using it for notes in lectures and email/internet.

Thanks.

What ram does it take? whats the best to go for? can you get a usb pen big enough to fit xp and office on and would this then work if it was inserted all the time?

and say i get the 4gb version, whats a good set up, e.g. 4gb sd and a 4gb flash drive or 8gb sd or 8gb flash drive or external drive? which would be fastest? and i don't have a card reader on my main pc which i would be transferring data with.

ive heard some bad stories about 4 and 8gb sd card not working correctly with it, is this true? ive got a 2gb sandisk ultra II that i can use for the moment. i should be ordering my EEE in the next week or so :)

was that the pny you mentioned earlier? i was looking at that card. how fast is it, i read the whole '60x faster' but how does it compare to the ssd in the EEE?
