Is the Linux installation on all EEE's the same?
I can find some very detailed reviews of the 701, and it seems just perfect (ie it has mplayer.....makes me feel sorry for people installing Dos on them, to have to live without mplayer would render it a brick as far as I'm concerned).
But I cannot seem to find much info on how the other models are configured.
Gonna get one for my 65 yr-old mother for Chrimbo, and there's no WAY she'd handled windows without causing a disaster (and because she doesn't know windows, she wont get on like an idiot because linux works differently (or "sucks" if your age and IQ are less than 12).
