Hey guys,

Erm so basically I did something I shouldn't have and i've screwed up.

I installed Windows 7 on a partition which Vista was on before.. I had it on dual boot with XP.

After this I couldn't get the menu up to choose which OS i wanted to boot from.

I downloaded EasyBCD and added W7 - no joy.. so for some reason I hit Uninstall Vista Bootloader (or something).. now I get:

NTLDR is missing
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart

How do I fix this and how do I get the menu to choose from XP and W7?

Cheers :)

Ps. on my macbook atm - cannot access either OS now :(

Edit: also have a Vista basic of basic version OEM DVD disc!

I've managed to get W7 working after using the W7 repair thing on the DVD... it only listed W7 when searching for windows installations though...

So I installed Easy BCD on W7 so now it's coming up with a list of OS's to choose from when I boot. I added XP onto the list on Easy BCD but if I select it it goes blank and my PC reboots itself.

ah got it working.. used the 2.0 build of Easy BCD and that sorted it!

EDIT

No! boot manager (with option to boot both OS's) only comes up when I have CD/DVD drive as first boot priority... anyone know how I fix this!?!

Cheers :)
