I don't play modded Doom these days although I did play some custom maps many years ago.

I happened across this video and thought this mod was impressively put together. Plenty of surprises and just a little spooky.

Yeah posted the video in the YT thread the other day - a fascinating watch along with some of the other videos breaking it down. Though I think some of the cleverness and subtlety will be lost on anyone not doing a deep dive into it.
