I notice the EF 70-300 f/4-5.6 IS doesnt appear in the lens lineup on the canon uk site. Has this been pulled from the line because of the portrait mode problem?

If they manage to find a solution to the problem, it looks like a decent Lens. End of June for a possible solution - good jobs theres plenty of distractions on the TV to pass the time.
