eFootball PES 2020

Just started 2020 Lite version.
Is there a official PES thread on this forum? I see the FIFA one is hundreds of pages, despite being utter crap...
(yep i'm trying to start a war, lol!) #PES4LYF #PES4EVA
 
I just bought this the other day as i've been on Fifa 17 for the last few years and fancied a change.

I'm a fan of the gameplay and it's brought back the fear of getting a down arrow on your star players that i remember from PES2006!

The interface/presentation is pretty awful though andthen the bits where the commentary is just laughable.

"Ball drops to you out of nowhere and you lash to shoot" and they come out with "He took too much time on that one. Or the other day i was playing as Preston against Luton and they open with "Battle between these two heavyweights"

That's definitely something Fifa have got nailed to make it a more realistic environment.

Yep, I had to turn the commentary off. Worst bit of the game by far.
 
Fifa 20 isnt bad, problem is its just a dribbling simulator at times. Improbable skill moves even the crap players can do, its a bit silly.

Is that online? I gave up playing online on football games long ago, only between friends. I never found the UT thing entertaining either. I liked the online game mode using the actual teams but finding games in them wasn't always easy using lower league clubs.

Now with any football game (this year I'm with PES) I only play offline and I play with manual controls. I'd recommend you try it, can take getting used to but it's very fun and feels much more rewarding when you actually score a decent goal!

Yeah online. only really play online. Used to only play PES Master League offline for years and years. :)
 
I remember playing FIfA 09 with manual controls vs a friend, like 20 minute halves

So frustrating but rewarding if you got it right.

is the 11v11 mode any good on PES?

definitely what I enjoyed most on FIFA
