Anyone else watch this program and think it's fixed? Are these quiz masters just highly intelligent big brained swatted up humans or are they just plain old cheats. It ****** me off! Some of the questions I just don't believe many people at all would know, but somehow, luckily these "eggheads" ALWAYS guess right even when they don't know! Coincidentally always get the easier set of questions too when it comes to sudden death etc. :mad: I think the total winnings up to today is around £41k! Which means the eggheads have won every day continuously for well over a month now. 8 weeks to be exact! I'd love to whack that Daphne with a shovel!

Probably, and it's a waste of time. It's like, 10 grand for all that? o.O You'd have better luck going on things like Deal or No Deal. At least then there's a chance for 250k.

Challengers - "What is the distance in KM from Berlin to Moscow?" "Is it A) 1,830 B) 1,811 or C) 1,795"

Eggheads - "What fruit does Apple Juice come from?" "Is it A) Oranges B) Apples or C) Bananas"

Plus if you want to guess, 90% of the time it's the middle answer!

And I think the presenter says "who will beat you" at the end of each show, like it means anything and anyone cares.

If you spend your days memorising trivia for a tv quiz show it doesn't show any remarkable intelligence.
 
I don't know how true it is, but a friend whose Father was on the show said that the Eggheads get a list of all the questions being used in that day's filming to read through. Obviously they don't know which questions they'll get asked, on which recording they'll be asked or which member will be asked what questions, but if it is true it gives them a distinct unfair advantage.

Yeah but even if you won £250k on Deal or No Deal, you've still been on Deal or No Deal and therefore lost at life.

I like Eggheads, I have noticed the challengers get tougher questions though - I put this down to the majority of the challengers going first in the false belief that there's somehow less pressure on them.
 
Its as retarded as the Takeshi's Castle final fight.

I despise eggheads, id happily exchange my own life to see the egg heads infront of a firing squad,

This TBH. I know quite a few people who pride themselves on their general knowledge, or football fans who can name everyone in the first team for QPR in 1972. It's meaningless.
