Eggnog recipe

Aftet watching National Lampoons Christmas vacation last night Im going to make some eggnog for Christmas Day, minus the moose glasses sadly.

Is there a go to recipe out there? There are plenty out there but some of them seem a bit fancy so thought I would ask for some opinions thanks.

By coincidence I watched this last night:

Recipie 1 (Starts at 32sec) ingredients:
Eggnog 8 eggs (yolks and whites separated)
1/2 cup sugar, plus 2 Tbsp (divided)
2 cups steamed milk
Whole cloves (2)
2 cups heavy cream
Bourbon and white rum, to taste
poour to glass
Grate nutmeg

Recipe 2 (Starts at 5mins):
2oz congac
1oz rum
1/2oz maderia 'wine' (Maderia Sherry I guess)
1/2oz simple syrub (sugar syrup?)
1 whole egg
-(Dry) shake without the milk/ice-
ice
-shake-
milk
-shake-
strain to glass
Grate nutmeg

Recipe 3 (Starts at 6mins 10sec)
2oz bourbon
1/2oz congac
1/2oz cherry liquor
1 whole egg
-dry shake-
ice
-shake-
milk
-shake-
strain to glass
Grate orange zest
Grate nutmeg

Alternatively, if big supermarket has an American food isle you might be able to get a carton of pre-made Eggnog.
