Basically fuitadnet appear to now, after 3 years of decent service, be experiencing various downtimes monthly on the box I'm on, the non UK based hosting was vast in space, vast in bandwidth but not vast in stability in the end and I require a cheap UK based host offering 500-1GB of space and 15~ GB bandwidth!

I have found this:
http://www.ehosting.co.uk/shared_1.php

The package looks good for my needs but does anyone have any experience with them or maybe a better alternative ?

Cheers!

http://stratohosting.co.uk/ have some really good deals at the moment. One plan includes ten domains for £1/year.
How? The domains alone would cost more than that, not counting the cost of the bandwidth? Looking at the website now, they are even offering free copies of Photoshop Elements.. sounds too good to be true

EDIT: After looking at it, they are a huge German ISP and probably can buy domains for next to nothing.. and once they lock you in for a year you are unlikely to move your site so they will make their money back in subsequent years from your hosting. If it is kosher, it is a good way to register some domain names and then move them when the year is up ;)

the catch with strato is you have to cancel in the 11th month. Else they take payment for the next year :)

Deals like this are good, cant complain. I'm currently on a 53p a year (for one year) 800gb space and 6TB bandwidth or such, unlimited sql, add on domains etc etc. Cracking deal :D

It appears that strata do not allow me to just change my existing domains ns records to point to strata like uk2 are allowing so I'd have to register a new domain but I do not wnat to do this as I currently have it set up this way with fuitadnet and it's just an extra process I'd rather do without! will just go with uk2.net I think with their nicely priced package!

Unless I am missing something!
