Has anyone here used or bought one of these monitors? Very interested in a monitor like this that will be used purely for gaming. My current one has literally just gone bust as I was originally going to wait for freesync. Was hoping that some of your guys could give me your insight into if this would be a good choice!

Thanks in advance!

Been through 4 of them earlier this year, awesome image quality and motion clarity, unfortunately they all had the same grey colored stripe running from top to bottom on the right edge so were all sent back. The black levels were good but due to the viewing-cone you get with VA panels it made it impossible to play games with dark/night scenes as you have to move your head around to see the full image. This model seems to have been plagued with the same problems where ever you buy it from.

There is a long thread on [H] forum about the problems this monitor has if you fancy a read:-

also a thread here on OCUK to:-

Thanks for the input, making me have a second thought now.

Any gaming monitors you would suggest? Mostly for CS:GO and DotA, can't see myself going over 24"

I can recommend the LG 24GM77 recently bought it and its brill. 144hz or you can do the 240 jobby which is the same feature the eizo offers. Colours seem good and blacks are also good.

Same as raptor said , though I only tried one. Mine also had terrible ghosting issues. I wouldn't try one again, especially after getting a rog swift.

Funnily enough that's the one I ordered before the FG2421. I was coming from 15 years of using CRTs so I knew the colors/blacks would not be anywhere near as good but as soon as I got it I fell in love with widescreen. I sent it back in exchange for the FG241 and then sent that back (4 times) and finally ended up with the XL2411Z which has the same panel as the 20Z. I realized my perfect monitor doesn't yet exist so I'm happy with the Benq for now until OLED or something similar comes out that can display the color black as black at 120hz with 1ms or less of response time.

I'm sure you will enjoy it as I do Loopy, it's great for driving games like Grid :)
