hi guys,

I'm sure over the coming days i'm gonna start getting quite annoying with all my mac newbie questions... all i can say is help me through this and i'll become one of the helpers in time :)

i'm having problems ejecting some images, i've installed textmate and skype just, all installed ok, but i can't eject the images...

tried draggin em to the trash, right click and saying eject and also clicking the little eject icon in finder... none work any ideas?

Yup, the endless threads are a bit annoying, but that's what we're here for.

Just make sure you don't trash any files from the image before ejecting. That way, you can eject once you've extracted what you need and you aren't causing issues by trying to read/write to an image you're trying to simultaneously eject.

A reboot will sort it, as with most things.

Sorry, it wasn't an attack at you.. just saying, the amount of threads you've started is a bit nuts :o

I don't mind asking questions, and I'll happily answer them all, just keep them in one place or it feels like spam.

I've updated the sticky with that new thread 'Jones :)
