A Full cover block for reference design GeForce 480 GTX graphic card.

Base is made of electrolytic copper. Top is made of quality POM Acetal material. The sealing is preformed by quality rubber washers. Block is mounted with enclosed M3x8mm DIN7985 screws.

Enclosed is also a GPU reinforcer. A metal plate which is mounted around the GPU with M3×4 screws and reinforces the PCB for perfect GPU contact with Water block without unwanted PCB bending.

Fittings can be used on both side of the block (up and down) and 2 plugs are enclosed!

finally good to have something that people can use to get sensible temperatures....but the price of the water coolant plates on top of the price of a 480 card is a bit duff. It just makes the 5*** series cards even more appealing all round imo. At least OCUK are getting them in so I'm sure some with money will buy them

Nothing is wrong with them. The majority of people opt for full cover blocks.

Well they do now, yes, since that's pretty much the only offering. The only real advantage they have is the looks. They're priced much higher and don't do any a better job of cooling, probably worse considering since they cool the VRAM as well which just puts unnecessary heat into the loop.

All i'm saying is it would be nice to have the option.
