Are they worth it? Anyone put one on an Asus DirectCU II 570?

How come you guys only stock the Nickel plated blocks too? I'll need to order a copper with Plexi or Delrin top. I've had an EK 8800GTS + Dtek Fuzion running for near on 4 years with only some very slight copper corrosion inside the EK block - literally wipe off with your finger stuff.

ek blocks are on order
the 570 specific blocks will likely be ordered if people special request them as the 580GTX+ block fits all standard revision 1 570 cards

the direct cu cards have a specialist block that i have set up but again, i am awaiting stock from ek

all ek nickel is EN plating which is the new nickel plating process
it will not rub off. nickel sells better than copper blocks.

Hi rjk!
Thought I might ask this with out opening a new thread but when you say "ek blocks are on order", does that include 6970 nickel blocks as well? :)

2004 I had a Dtek LRWW + Dangerden ATI 9800 block.

Can you guess what this is?

I am not mixing metals no matter the plating. Can you get the copper blocks in? You'll have one customer at least...

Looks like they're only doing the DCII blocks in Nickel plating anyway :(

Let us know when they're in stock :)

That was 2004 - they use a new process called EN nickel plating now. this is a higher end method of nickel plating.

mixing metals only applies to aluminium/copper mixes

there is no issues with nickel plating

I'll take your word for it - any news on when the EK blocks will be in? I'll be coming down in the next couple of days to grab a new board anyway so picking up a DirectCU EK block at the same time would be a good idea.
