I'm waiting for my WC bits to arrive on monday and just had a light bulb switch on concerning my EK 8800GTX block Apart from needing x2 1/2" barbs do I need x2 blanking plugs for the opposite side or are they supplied with the block?

If i remember right, they come with the block. When it arrives check the wavy bit for swarf as you may need to take it apart for a clean. Better to do it now than have metal filings bugger the pump.

Thank guys. I will be flushing out all my block just to make sure of no debrie. I was suprised of the finish of the mosfet blocks compared to the mirror finish of the NB and SB blocks. A quick polish lap will soon sort those out though.

What would you use to flush it out?

I wouldn't try and flush it - it's just a big void in there - better to open it up (it's 8 allen-bolts) and wipe it with a lint-free cloth (a pair of old underpants is ideal).

sounds like a reasonable idea but I would add DON'T OVERTIGHTEN THE ALLEN BOLTS WHEN YOU PUT IT BACK TOGETHER!!!

They're mega easy to strip the thread off.

Plus refitting the o-ring is a bitch to refit.
