Not sure if anyone else has spotted this but EK are running a program for those of use who purchased the Connect to return them at EK's cost.
Those who purchased directly from EK can raise an RMA with them and those who purchased from here should raise an RMA with OcUK. Just a note around that though, it would appear OcUK staff are not aware of the situation.

As you will see, the return program has been put in place by EK as they say that the Connect was released in a non functional state or not in the state that they wanted it to be in.
I for one have had nothing but unreliable operation from it.
