EK CPU block mounts for AM4 socket

So wondering what the deal is for getting mounting equipment for cpu blocks to fit the new am4 mobos.


Are Ek gonna offer them to current owners for a P+P fee,or they just gonna be standalone products to be bought.



And more importantly when will they be available ?

will these work with the boxed mouting materials for am4 boards using a supremacy evo?

So it's certain now that AM3 coolers won't fit AM4?

Im sure that the older am3 coolers wont fit. However i just bought a ek supremacy mx and it came with 2 sets of mounting holes(supports am2,3,4 etc.) there similar and if you look at the photos you will see it. I also head that if you want a backplate you can email the ek support and ask for a backplate and they will send you out one for free but you have to pay for shipping

The AM3 coolers will not fit the AM4 socket it they need a backet plate. If the coolers have the old style clips then they will work as normal.

EK have released AM4 water blocks as well.

The AM4 bracket on our website comes with the top bracket and backplate for mounting.
