EK-DDC X-RES 140 issues...

Hi All,

Just got my EK X-Res 140 and new DDC1 18w version and I'm having some problems, basically at 12v with this pump the X-res causes loads of cavitation in the pump which rattles like hell and does not settle however long I try to remove the air from the system.

I have set the pump to 5v which solves the cavitation but sometime the pump does not start up on power up.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can solve this?

Have you installed a anti-cyclon thing? this should do the trick and they are only a few ££

I think thats for Multioption Reservoirs V1 & V2 only, there dosent appear to be one for the X-res.

Well as it was only 2 quid I tried it hoping it would fit and it did!

No more bubble bubble bubbles...
