EK FLT Res With DDC Pump Fitting Help

Hi, I just need a little bit of help with fitting a DDC pump to an FLT 80, the instructions from EK a pretty much useless, with only 2 pictures and about 4 line of text, ive pressurized the system umpteen times and always lost air, reffitted the pump and still loosing air, what I cant work out although you are meant to use the DDC O ring supplied, are you meant to leave the D5 O ring in situ too ? the instructions just say to remove the D5 bracket and fit the DDC O ring, they dont say anything about the other O ring which fits into the groove on the res.

I got there in the end this morning, after a battle with it last night I gave up, I changed the o ring on the DDC pump for the one supplied with the FLT80 and all my problems seemed to be gone, its only the 4.1, but my d5 pump vario was noisy at number 3, too slow at number 2 and too powerful at number 4 for the FLT80, it just kept sucking the air back in as it was pushing it out.

this is normal for most res/pump combo's unless you have a massive tube res. it was calm down over a few days and you will have to top up the fluid. the FLT80 is a very small res
