I was just fitting my compression fittings today when I noticed that the thread for the compressions was too short to use the spacers. I re-read the manual and noticed that actually all this time I had the spacers in the wrong place. The manual says you have to have the spacers on the copper side but I had one on the copper side and one on the plexi side (attached to each barb). Therefore, I was using a blanking cap on the copper side without a spacer and it didn't leak. Also, the threads on the blanking caps are too short to use with spacers anyway, so I don't see how they expect us to use them.
So......to cut to the chase, do you think it would be ok for me to run the block without any spacers?
Cheers
