EK Jet plates (to change or not?)

Hi,

Just Got my shiny new Ek supreme hf full nickel for my i5 2500k

in the box i noticed you can keep there standard jet plate (1 line) or change it for one of the others

has anyone tested this? :confused:

... is it worth me opening (void Warranty it says if opened :eek:

) to change to another jetplate

Jet plate number 1 is the best one, has been tested several times and why it comes fitted as standard. I think ek have even stopped putting the optional plates in with blocks now in favour of the new mounting kit.

Ek still ship with extra jet plates, I only got mine yesterday has 5 in it :cool:

They changed it last year. The original HF's shipped with the worst plate fitted but they then changed it to the best plate being fitted, probably due to feedback from reviewers. I have the 2 slot plate fitted in mine as i felt it was the best trade off between performance and restriction.

If you purchased your EK block recently then it will come installed with the best performing jet plate.
