EK-LOOP Fan/RGB controller

I am looking for a reasonable Fan + ARGB controller, and have been looking at the EK-Loop. I know there were big issues with the software, that EK apologized for, and even taking the product off sale until the software was fixed.

I now see that the software has been updated and the EK-Loop is available to buy again, so I was wondering, if anyone who already has an EK-Loop controller, have they fixed the issues with the software with the latest release?

I don't particularly want to drop 50 notes on one if the software still doesn't work!

For around the same price, i'd go with an Aquacomputer Octo/Quadro for the fans and a simple Lamptron SP101 or 901 for the ARGB

The Aquacomputer kit can control standard 5-pin ARGB components as well, if you get the socket adapters...

The loop is much better than it was, that is for sure but yes stay clear.
