Ive purchased two of these and im having issues with getting both of the res tops identically aligned up. Ive tried to get them turned equally however it's not working an I'm at a stage where i think id break it if i turned them anymore. Does anyone have any ideas how i can the one on the right to be like the one on the left?

many thanks.

You would have to take them apart, align threads on both cylinders, align both bottom parts before you screw them on. Then, align the tops and screw them on. It may require a bit of patience, but it's doable :)

Some times it's just the way they are threaded. I had a similar issue swapping port tops before where things wouldn't align after. I'd just try the comment above or try a mixture of tightening the top and bottom on both in stages until they are both aligned.

If nothing in honesty they will take a lot of force before they will break.

Depends how far out they are, couldn't tell from the photo.

PTFE tape ( plumbers tape ) on the outer threads of the res tubes, will allow you to slacken off one of them, whilst still remaining watertight.

You might then have the issue that they are not perfectly 'eye' level ( the tops ) but a couple of millimetres will not show.

Actually, I had the similar problem when I used to use EK Tube Res but everytime if I just tighten both caps as far as I could they'll line up perfectly.
