Anyone changed fans on the rad, it seems only certain type of space between the short bolt and fan works, the fan needs space for the head of the bolt not to catch on the support frame .

Can't get into the Vardar fans, have an odd whine on four I've tried and I don't need fans that ramp up to 2000 rpm or above, sound like leaf blowers :)

Out of interest, were the coil whine most obvious when the PWM cycle is set between 40% and 70%?

And yes, I have changed the fans before, to another set of Vardar, for a few of the screws u need to reuse the cable management clamp as it acts as a spacer.

Probably about 70% speed, after that they sound like demented werewolfs.

Don't really need to use spacers just an M4 x 8 screw.

Vardars are known to have sound problems when using PWM, as stated by PCGH for a long time. People never believed me when i told them lol.

I had 3 of them myself on a 360 radiator and replaced them with better fans.
