I've recently purchased a W/C kit which includes the EK Water Blocks EK-D5 X-RES 100 CSQ - Acetal and xpsc compression fittings. I've encountered a problem regarding leaks around the compression fittings.

The compression fitting has been tightened around the tube ever so tight.

I've tighten them as hand tight as possible but they still leak slightly. I've then tightened them with a screwdriver but have damaged the screw thread within the base plate of the block. Ive moved to the third socket on the block but don't want to screw the threads any further.

Any ideas on how to counter this.

It was first one, then I screwed it in too much. Block that hole with the cover screw, then changed it to the back on and this one is leaking slightly also. The leak appears within a few minutes. Ive tried to tighten it again but now reluctant to tight more in case the thread get damaged again.

Will look for the extender fitting/adapter.

All correctly fitted and seems to be holding no leaks. Thanks for the input. Now to leave it for a bit to make sure. Then where to attach it to the case.

Don't believe it fixed one problem now buggered the CPU block the compression fitting now pops out tried pfte tape but no joy, now on glue as a last resort. If that doesn't work new block time.

Any recommendations ?
