EK Quantum Magnitude (Skt1200)

Anyone know if EK plan to bring a kit/backplate out for this so it can be used on Intel next gen Skt1700?

From what i've seen so far some boards will accommodate both lga 115X and 1700 mounting systems so might not need an adapter. I'm sure vendors will bring out adapters though anyway just for convenience.

I have a feeling that is for the Quantum Velocity not Magnitude

The holes are fixed in this block so will never fit 1700 but the asus boards with the 1200 and 1700 holes will be fine will be fitting one to my 12900KF

Just had conformation back from EK, they have no plans to release a 1700 mounting plate for the Magnitude just the Velocity...Oh well, new block it is then...

I had comms with EK. They said a magnitude is likely to be developed for 1700 for the future. They also said they hadn’t tested the magnitude 1200 with an Asus z690 board with the extra holes. But Dinos22 on YouTube apparently ran a whole series of benches with a 12900k and a 1200 quantum magnitude block, in his 12900k overclocking guide video.
